NAME// Lilykit Lilypaw Lilystorm Lily AGE// 24 Moons GENDER// She-cat CLAN// None, Previously of ShadowClan DESIRED POSITION// Rogue SHORT DESCRIPTION// longhaired light brown she-cat with green eyes.
DESCRIPTION//
Lily is one beautiful she-cat, there is no doubt about that. She received her beauty from her mother, looking almost identical to the other she-cat. The base coat color on the warrior is a very light brown, almost a sandy color. This color stretches from her tail and across the majority of her back and stomach. The next color seen is white, and is a large ring that loops around her neck, muzzle, and to her front two paws. Once again, there comes a brown/mahogany color to outline the main points of her face, her ears and upper face. On the lower half of her face is white, along with a strip in the middle of her nose. The last feature about Lily is her beautiful green eyes.
The she-cat isn’t the largest you will see, but neither is she the smallest. She’s a longhaired cat, and her fur covers her entire body and is easily matted. Lily hates when her fur is matted, which happens quite often, but sometimes she just lets it go and doesn’t feel like dealing with it. She will forget to groom her fur sometimes, and it will be left unkept. Having such demanding fur is just not fun and becomes exhausting.
PERSONALITY//
Passive-aggressive, Assertive, Cynical, Trust-Issues
Lily definitely was given the suffix -storm for great reason. Even if it didn't fit at first. Her most distinguishable trait is that she is passive-aggressive. But she is more towards the aggressive side than the passive. She keeps up this stonewall façade around her emotions and refuses to let them be shown. With the traumatic past she has endured, shutting off emotions seemed to be the best route for her. It has helped her be the cat she is to this day and it is doubtful she will change her ways.
She is not afraid to stand up for what she believes in or what she thinks is true. When trying to influence others she has no problem with being assertive about it and taking a stand. She is very defensive about others and has personal boundary issues. The one thing she does have when it comes to assertive behavior is she cannot keep it completely in control. If she is feeling angered, she will lash out and be sure you will get an ear-ful.
The she-cat sees the world in a cynical point of view. It is very hard for her to trust anyone in her family. Trust comes at too high of a cost and it is not worth it to this she-cat, her family has proven this to be quite true. It is very rare for Lily to be anywhere near her family, which is her main reason for leaving the clans. She doesn't distrust everyone, just most cats.
She's not really one to like kits too much, she enjoys apprentices, though. Kits are too much of a nuisance and bother others, and tend to get in the way, while apprentices are the ones to teach and train, the future warriors of the clan. You'll never see Lily around kits unless it is something absolutely necessary. Ever since the loss of her kits it is almost impossible to get this cat anywhere near a kit. It brings up far too many memories and she cannot handle the emotion.
EXPERIENCE//
Background Life is rough and nothing will ever be the same. It was a lesson that this one particular she-cat had learned early on in life. Who would have ever thought that she would be a survivor despite all the chaos and calamity? The story begins with a tom, just moons away from being an elder, and his mate…a she-cat half his age. They had fallen in love while she was still an apprentice, and had becomes mates a few moons after her warrior ceremony. It was true love. They put off having kits, the she-cat far too independent and not wanting to be tied down while she was still young. But alas, the moons crept up on her and the tom was more than eager to have his kits in the clan. After the long talk of having kits, the she-cat ended up pregnant.
Kit The next installment into the lives of these cats is about their three bundles of joy that came shortly after the she-cat announced she was pregnant. Both cats were happy to see the three little ones, and the she-cat had her sister in the nursery with her. Robinflight was very close to her sister, and had just had kits of her own a moon prior. She was more than happy to help her sister out. Two of Robinflight’s kits had been stillborn, so she was left with a tom. He was very self-sufficient at the time, and she had a mate that was wonderful. When Ashwind gave birth to the three kits, Robinflight volunteered to watch the kits that night for a few moments while her sister went to stretch her legs for a few moments. While out on the stroll, Ashwind found herself in great pain. She had to stop and lay down just to keep herself from passing out. It was then that little Lilykit came into the world. Ashwind was overwhelmed already with three kits, what was she going to do with a fourth? When she returned to camp, she voiced her concerns and Robinflight decided that she would adopt the kit…and Lilykit became the daughter of Robinflight.
Lilykit grew up thinking Robinflight was her true mother. She never wondered why her brother was so much larger than her, or how her cousins were so similar to her. Lilykit was such an innocent and sweet little kit, she loved her mother and brother dearly. It was very rare that this kit was in trouble. When it came time for her brother, Lilykit, to be apprenticed, Lilykit was curious why she was not up there with him. Her mother explained that she still was too little in size, and that it would be more appropriate if she waited a moon. Lilykit didn’t see any problems in that, after all, she would catch up to her brother soon enough.
Apprentice Lilykit became Lilypaw along with her three cousins (or rather siblings). Her mentor was tough yet kind, and Lilypaw loved every second of being an apprentice. She trained more with her brother than her cousins, having a greater bond with him. The sweet little apprentice was so loving toward everyone, and strived to do her best. She soon caught up with Adderpaw (though she had the feeling he was holding back a little so they could be warriors together), and after a final assessment the two were made warriors. At this point, Lilypaw was a little less than eleven moons, though she thought she was twelve like her brother. It wasn’t as if anyone in the clan would spill the beans and say she wasn’t the right age. That would mean her birth parents would have to come forth and the happy she-cat’s life would be turned around. Who would want to do that to Lilypaw? She was just too kind and caring to everyone else.
Warrior Lilystorm proved that she was deserving of her warrior name. The suffix of her name was quite confusing to some, though. She was given a suffix normally given to those with a bit of an attitude. But the she-cat didn’t care. She took it as that she would be taking the clan by storm. She spent every moment she could on a patrol, or helping out. During her apprentice moons she had fallen for a tom and at twelve moons they were mates (it was just after his warrior ceremony). She was given an apprentice to train, a cat much like herself when it came to personality. Bluepaw was a very easy-going she-cat who really liked having Lilystorm as a mentor, and the warrior loved having Bluepaw as an apprentice. She wasn’t too strict and was very kind. It was like the she-cat didn’t have a mean bone in her body. It seemed like the perfect matchup for a mentor/apprentice duo. It also helped that Bluepaw had lost her mother shortly before becoming an apprentice. Lilystorm wasn’t a replacement, but was a good influence and the apprentice began thinking of Lilystorm as a mother.
Queen A moon into Bluepaw’s training, Lilystorm found herself pregnant with kits. This had not been a part of her and her mate’s plan but nevertheless, it was happening. She continued to train Bluepaw to the best of her abilities, and her mate aided her when he could. Lilystorm waited until she gave birth to move in the nursery, waiting until she was sure her apprentice was okay in the paws of her mate. The she-cat had two wonderful kits, one of each gender. She named them Longkit (in honor of his long body) and Sagekit (in honor of her deceased grandmother). Lilystorm loved being a queen, and was quite protective of her kits. Other queens were perplexed at how well she adjusted into the lifestyle. It was as if she was made to be a queen and take care of young cats. The young queen often found herself with more kits by her side, from the other queens. She didn’t mind watching them while the other queens stretched their legs or ran an errand or two. The queens trusted her to keep their kits safe, and Lilystorm loved it. Her kits were well behaved and she just had this demeanor about her that the other kits she watched were well behaved also. When Bluepaw came in the nursery to tell her she was still working hard, the queen could not have been more proud. Her two kits thrived, and it all seemed perfect. Then everything began to spiral downward.
Somehow a fox had gotten into the nursery and Lilystorm had gone into the clearing of the camp for a few moments to see how Bluepaw was progressing. She left her kits fast asleep in the nursery. They didn’t stand a chance. The fox had killed them, leaving the bodies of the kits laid out in a trail in the nursery. The sight was horrible and it was hard to tell which body part belonged to which kit. Pain seared through her body, pain unlike any other. Instead of allowing her mate to comfort her, she pulled away from him. She pulled away from everyone. Lilystorm moved back to the warriors den, and resumed her training full-time of Bluepaw. Gone was the sweet and loving she-cat. In her place was an aggressive and take-no-prisoner like she-cat. To add fuel to the already burning fire of hatred, word leaked out that Ashwind was her true mother. Now she had been lied to her entire life. No one had bothered to share this information with her. Slowly Lilystorm detached herself from the entire clan.
Continuing as a warrior Bluepaw was made into a warrior in record time, Lilystorm pushing the she-cat like crazy. She became known as the cold-hearted she-cat. Never would she step paw inside the nursery again. She refused to play or even acknowledge kits and only would speak to apprentices. She was given another apprentice, who was once again a warrior in record time. But this cat did not get to see the sweet side of Lilystorm. No cat would probably ever see the cat Lilystorm was before. If you wanted your kit to have a mentor that would push them to the limits, and show no mercy, Lilystorm was the best bet. But there was no compassion or caring bone if they were hurt. It was more of an inconvenience.
Rogue At eighteen moons, Lilystorm made a decision that shocked the clan. She could not take it anymore. Everywhere she went she saw kits, or cats that looked like her two deceased kits. She saw her family, she saw her mate. She couldn’t take it anymore. She had to get out of there, away from all the pain. And that is exactly what she did. Lilystorm left the clan with another cat in the clan, Panther (previously Blackpanther), and became a rogue, changing her name to just Lily.
To this day Lily is still quite the aggressive and distrustful she-cat. She has almost zero cats she trusts completely and stays far away from ShadowClan territory. She doesn’t want to see her family or her ex-mate. It is hopeful that someone can crack into her shell and bring back the cat she once was. Or even just bring a tiny bit of happiness into her dreadful and lonely life.
OTHER// She is highly afraid of squirrels.
