DESCRIPTION//
--- Kestrelwhisker is a sleek, pretty cat with short russet fur, long legs and whiskers, and large, bright green eyes. Though her paws are a little bigger than normal, she's extremely graceful. She has a neat, round face and slightly darker fur on her back and outer legs.
PERSONALITY//
--- Kestrelwhisker is a playful, fun-loving she-cat. She loves to hang around the nursery and play with kits. She also loves to tease her clanmates, particularly any toms that come padding after her. Like her sister, Copperstar, she is not afraid to let others know what she thinks of them, though she generally has a bit more tact. She is sweet, kind, and always supportive of her sister, whom she loves more than any other cat.
EXPERIENCE//
--- Kestrelkit and Copperkit were the best of friends growing up. While Copperkit was eager and ambitious, Kestrelkit generally preferred to play with butterflies than try to mimic the apprentices' training. The sisters couldn't spend as much time together as apprentices, but luckily for Kestrelpaw, Sedgetail was an easygoing mentor who taught her that she should strive to be the best warrior she could in her own way. Kestrelpaw most enjoyed the menial tasks that the other apprentices loathed, such as collecting moss for the nursery or elder's den, as it allowed her the opportunity to talk to every cat she could. Her social attitude and deep concern for her clanmates' happiness made her very popular, though she always made time to share tongues with her sister. She was not bitter about her sister receiving an apprentice soon after they received their names, and much preferred hunting on the moor or babysitting the kits to the idea of training an apprentice. Kestrelwhisker was one of the first cats to discover that rogues had begun attacking warriors on WindClan's outer borders and was deeply concerned every time a clanmate was attacked. She would often offer to help out the medicine cat in treating their injuries, with mixed results. Though she did not participate in the battle to drive the rogues out, she grieved heavily alongside her sister for the loss of her mentor Sedgetail. When Copperfur was named deputy later that night, Kestrelwhisker called her name the loudest and stood in staunch support of her sister, defending her from any cat who thought she was too young or inexperienced for the position. She continued to do this when her sister became leader, supporting and reassuring her sister with every pawstep.
OTHER//
--- Kestrelwhisker awoke to a short squeak and the feeling of tiny paws attacking her tail. With a smile, she flicked the tip of her tail up out of the kit's grasp, then let it lay temptingly just out of reach as she got to her paws. "You'll be a great hunter someday," she purred at the kit. "But don't you think it's a little early to be practicing your pouncing? Your mother will be worried if she wakes up and finds you out of your nest?" She rubbed one of her ears calmly as she whisked her tail right out from under the kit's paws and smiled at him. "I promise I'll play with you later."
